Emerging Artist
"Sustenance" is defined as what's necessary to sustain life. To me, art provides sustenance. Painting relaxes me and makes me happy. It's as simple as that.
You will see vibrant colors and high contrast throughout my artwork. I strive to create art that is visually pleasing to me and others.
Water-based media is my favorite paint to work with, but I enjoy using most types of paint. When working with dry media, I use anything I can get my hands on.
Nearly all my work would be considered mixed media. I love mixing and matching different textures to create pieces that are visually riveting. Each painting contains items that mean something to me. All my paintings have a story.
Inspiration comes from everything visual. I love traveling. Seeing new places and things is a feast for my eyes. Typically, my mind is most creative when it is at rest. God gave me a gift and one of my goals in life is to one day, have the ability to convey the happiness to others that I feel when I look at my work. Another goal is to illustrate children's books.
