I enjoy painting people, animals, landscapes and seascapes. To be able to capture an expression, a mood or a memory of a special place or event is the ultimate challenge. To me, nothing is more gratifying than having the privilege of painting a loved one or a treasured moment on canvas for someone. Most of my work is done in oil, but I have also worked in acrylic, watercolor and colored pencil. My paintings are signed with my maiden name, “Ciccone”, to honor my father, from whom I inherited my love of art.
Learning to work with different media and experimenting with new techniques is of great interest to me. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my art with others. I believe art is a gift from God, and I strive to develop and use my artistic ability to celebrate life and the beauty of the creation that surrounds us.
