What drives a creative person to do what they do? For Adelaide, the answer may be difficult to come up with, but a life-long history of creativity has led her to the place she is today. She is the owner of the White Heron Gallery, and shares a love of our feathered friends with many people. She is also a natural artist who until five years ago, didn't know she could paint.
Her favorite bird, the "White Heron", is the namesake for the Gallery. Most of Adelaide's paintings are acrylic on large canvases but she also works in oil and mixed media.
Birds, sea life and animals are her favorite subjects to paint. Adelaide does commissioned portraits of people, pets and places.
Her love of art, in all forms has opened a world for other area artists to showcase their own works. She gives others the opportunity to shine and is quite talented in her own right.
