Ralph Coats, a native of North carolina, obtained a bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, while he minored in art. Ralph continued his art studies by attending the Arts Students' League, New York, New York, where his instructors were Geig Kreutz and harold Dinnerstein. He also studied with Daniel Greene for portraiture and in Provence, France, as a student at the En Plein Air School of Painting.

 

He has devoted himself to painting full time for over 12 years, during which he has had ten, one-man shows.  He now continues to travel Europe and the United States studying landscape painting.

 Ralph has been commissioned by private individuals and has completed a series of commissions for Campbell University and Morgan Stanley.  His works can be found among the collections of countless individuals and corporate locations.
