PASSION: I hope that the passion I feel for my work is apparent to the viewer. When I fall in love with a subject, I try very hard to make it look real. I also try to paint what moves me in each of them – rather than just describing what they look like.

I concentrate on creating art with texture, rich color and strong composition while trying to convey peacefulness in my paintings.

Being myself and pleasing myself as an artist is vital to my personal happiness. I truly enjoy painting what interests and excites me.

I have been a member of the Fayetteville Art Guild since 1981 and have served as treasurer for many years.
